Thanks to the Santa Cruz City Arts Recovery Design (CARD) program and Arts Council Santa Cruz, we received initial grants to get production rolling and our events established. Now we are raising an additional $22,000 to further support our production team, more local artists, post-production process, film distribution, community feedback screenings, exhibition and April 15th What’s Home Screenings and Performances.

What does the money go towards?

  • Artists

    $12,000 of our budget goes to fund the 12 Santa Cruz artists working on the project.

  • Unhoused Collaborators

    $3,500 goes into the pockets of our unhoused collaborators. This cost covers help with supplies and stipends.

  • Production Team

    $48,000 goes to fund our editors, videographers, sound mixers, administrative personnel, and director who are all behind the scenes making this project happen.

  • Events

    $7,000 goes to fund all our event needs, from food, to venues, to personnel

  • Food

    $1200 goes to cover food costs, which are provided at all filming shoots.

  • Equipment

    $2500 to cover our sound and video equipment costs.
