Imagine opportunities for housed and unhoused residents to come together in an atmosphere of safety and respect, truly seeing and hearing each others’ responses to these questions.

Imagine Santa Cruz making headway with its homelessness issue as a result of a collaborative examination of these questions.

What’s Home? is an innovative arts and listening project with faith in this vision. These ten conversations—each between a housed and an unhoused individual, each facilitated by a visual artist, writer, musician, or dancer, and the ten short documentary films that result will illustrate the broad range of housing scarcity stories that exist in Santa Cruz.

Let’s move—at the speed of trust—towards a deeper understanding of each other and our community.
